We are Surface Quality Institute - SQI. Our objective is to react to motions from the operations and to the requirements of our customers. And we are the best in it, seriously!
We have available the state-of-the-art technological equipment including the metallographic microscope and two salt spray cabinets. We also perform accredited tests that guarantee a high level of expertise and accuracy of results.
With development of technological units for surface treatment and coating, the need of the testing of technologies and preparations arises. The growing demands of our customers have resulted in the establishment of the new department - Surface Quality Institute which has gradually become important support in the area of quality of the processes of surface treatment, production, human resources and environment. We are happy to share our knowledge in the form of trainings, lectures and/or conferences.

In virtually all powder coating plants, the thickness of the cured coating is measured. But did you know that powder coating thickness can also be measured before curing, helping you avoid rework if the coating does not meet the required thickness? The thickness of the applied coating layer affects not only appearance, but also corrosion resistance, product lifetime and, last but not least, cost. If you only check thickness after curing, you are paying for mistakes in powder, energy and time.
