Our SQI laboratory has once again expanded the scope of its accredited testing services. We have newly obtained accreditation for five additional test methods and have also extended some of our existing methods to include additional standards. This enables us to offer our customers an even broader range of accredited testing for assessing the quality of surface treatments.
The condensation test according to ČSN EN ISO 6270 is among the most frequently used exposure tests in artificial atmospheres. Its principle is exposing test specimens to condensed water at an elevated temperature. Demineralized water is used in condensation chambers; it is stripped of ions, which ensures high purity and low conductivity.
Evaluating corrosion tests is crucial for determining the lifespan of materials, but it is not always a straightforward task. In our laboratory, we often encounter various factors that can distort the accuracy of test results, thus affecting the final assessment of the quality of surface finishes on the tested samples.
